Aishwarya Alex is currently a Technology Project Lead in Innovation and Research at Roche Diagnostics Automation Solutions GmbH in Stuttgart and works on innovative IT solutions for healthcare. Aishwarya completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering in India and then decided to move to the Bioinformatics domain and completed her Masters in Life Science Informatics from the University of Bonn, Germany. She then moved to Luxembourg to pursue her PhD. She completed her PhD at the Bioinformatics Core group in the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine at the University of Luxembourg.
During her time in Luxembourg, she began her journey with the Student Council. She was one of the co-founders and the President of the RSG Luxembourg in 2015. During the initial years of the RSG, the main focus was to spread the word and secure funds and sponsors for the RSG activities. During this period, she was also actively volunteering for the Finance Team the SCS 2016 at Orlando and was happy to get on board as the Finance Chair for the ET for the next term 2017-2018.
