The International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) and the Regional Student Groups in Africa (RSGs Africa) are organizing the ISCB-RSGs African Student Symposium to be held on Sunday, March 8th, 2015 on the marge of the ISCB Africa ASBCB Conference on Bioinformatics in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The aim of the symposium is to get a chance to know colleagues working on the computational biology area in order to create networks and to have collaborations and opportunities that can improve bioinformatics research in Africa.
The symposium is mainly designed for students working on the computational biology field that want to share their experience in the field and interact with their colleagues in Africa. The program will include oral presentations and poster session. Students or postdoc are invited to submit abstracts to be presented as an oral presentation or at the poster session during the symposium.
